Housing Support Worker
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £23549 + 5% pension.
Holiday: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
Latch is a unique charitable organisation that refurbishes derelict and run-down houses in Leeds. When they’re fully modernised and furnished, our properties provide supported housing for people who are homeless or in housing need and are ready to make a positive change in their lives.
We are recruiting an experienced worker to support our tenants to:
- Set up and sustain their tenancies so that they don’t become homeless again.
- Develop a range of skills so that they can move to independent living.
- Identify and take steps towards achieving their personal goals.
This is an exciting time to join our team. Latch is growing and we are recruiting an additional support worker to join our friendly and effective team. We are developing the service based on innovative evidence based practice, incorporating Strengths Based Approaches and working towards becoming a Psychologically Informed Environment.
Experience of support work, a full driving licence and access to own vehicle for work use are essential.
