Applying to LATCH

If you want to apply to LATCH you will need to check our eligibility criteria. Click on the word eligibility or go to the ‘Eligibility’ tab on the drop down menu.

Self Referral

If you are homeless or in serious housing difficulties you can apply to LATCH by filling in our housing application form. The application forms asks you a lot about your current housing situation. If you have difficulty completing the form LATCH can help you.  

You can:

• Collect the form in person from our office at 176 Chapeltown Road.
• Request the form by telephone and we will send it out to you by post.
• E-mail a request and we will post the form out to you.
• Contact us through our website and we will get back in touch with you.

Returning the form is easy.  Just drop it through the letter box, return it by post or you can complete the form on the spot when you pick it up.

Agency referral

If you are working with a client or family who are homeless or in serious housing difficulties you can refer them to LATCH by filling in our application form. You can:

• Make a telephone referral by speaking to one of our support staff.
• Collect the form in person from our office at 176 Chapeltown Road.
• Request the form by telephone and we will send it out to you by post.
• E-mail a request and we will e-mail the form back out to you.
• Download an application form from our website

You can return the form by post, e-mail it, or fax it back to us (Fax number: 0113 2392642).

What happens next?

Once we receive the completed form a member of our team will contact the applicant to invite them to an assessment interview. This will be within 15 working days of receiving the returned application.

The assessment interview lasts for about 1 hour.  There is no need to worry about this. The interview is to make sure that we are the right service for you or your client.
