LATCH Floating Support Service
LATCH is currently commissioned by Leeds City Council to support 42 vulnerable people through the Supporting People Grant. Our target group is primarily single homeless and lone parent families some of whom have complex needs.
What is the aim of the support service?
The service aims to minimise homelessness by providing support and assistance to people in their own homes who are either at risk of becoming homeless or who have problems maintaining their tenancy.

How does a person get onto the service?
A person can self-refer or be referred to LATCH by their landlord. We will take referrals from other support agencies, hostels, probation, social services and ALMO's covering north east and north west Leeds.
It is important to remember that anyone can be referred to LATCH as long as they have support needs which might put their tenancy at risk.
Many people do not recognise they have support needs. Here are some examples:
