Marjam’s story

Marjam was a Latch tenant from 2019 to 2021, after being referred to us by Leeds Women’s Aid. Her first language is Pashtu and we have helped her to study English and gain an ESOL qualification. She plans to expand her studies to nails and beauty and has already gained an employment offer for when she finishes. The support from Latch helped her move on to permanent housing in Leeds and she is excited about planning the next phase in her life with her son and planting their new garden.
