Latch food bank distributes £7.9K of support (Added 1/06/23 )

Our food bank, launched last year, has been busy distributing over £7.9K in food vouchers and welfare support to tenants. We are working hard to support our tenants – who are facing challenges with the rising cost of living and more than 50% have made use of the food bank so far. It stocks a wide range of essential food items, working in partnership with Surplus to Purpose, who provide quality fresh food that would otherwise be destined for landfill.

Free sanitary products are also available on site thanks to our relationship with Freedom4girls, along with a book exchange and Tenant Hub – an information point where our tenants can find out about community partners and other useful services.
